Travis Cyr has been nurturing and cultivating his own, unique, homegrown music for years. Based in the great Northern Maine woods he has spent the last 25 years writing and performing an original voice of cerebral roots and Spacey folk music. Honest, vivid and poetic lyrics drenched in cosmic Americana and the rural beauty of life and nature that surrounds us daily. Coupled with aggressively precise yet delicate guitar playing, every TC performance is honest and genuinely relevant. He never serves the same dinner twice. He has released 15 albums of all original songs, played over 2,000 shows and is the founder of the Arootsakoostik Music Festival which has championed Maine Artists since 2006.

Travis is accompanied by longtime bass player Jed Bresette (Tricky Britches, Bad Combo) and they will be celebrating the rel ase of a brand new studio CD, "In The Valley of the Sun.”
