Juno Award-winning clarinetist Virginia MacDonald has established herself as a rising star of her generation. Known for her lyrical and soulful clarinet playing, She has performed and recorded with such jazz masters as Dick Oatts, Harold Mabern, Geoff Keezer, and Joe Magnarelli, has performed at the Detroit and Montreal Jazz Festivals, as well as touring through India, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, France, Italy, and the UK. Joining in her quartet are guitarist Dan Nicholas, and the long time rhythm axis of bassist Mark Lewandowsky and drummer Charles Gould alumni of the groups of Wynton Marsalis, Steve Nelson, Sheila Jordan and many others.
