While sometimes giving audiences unique covers of both well known and obscure songs, Merther’s sets are more often than not comprised of mostly original music. Lyrics that speak to both the joys and the troubles of everyday life as human beings, about perseverance through pain and confusion, as well as embracing the joy of our happiest moments, are common themes within Merther’s music. Despite the sometimes serious nature of these lyrical motifs, you cannot listen to or converse with any of these boys without noticing a rich and unrelenting sense of humor which makes itself evident both musically and lyrically.
Altogether, Merther brings an energy of solidarity with and love for each other and ourselves. Their music resonates with people of all stripes and their shows are a great time.
